What the calculator assumes
- Adult fares, reserved seat, ordinary car. Prices in yen, so exchange rates do not change the answer.
- Nozomi and Mizuho trains need an extra ticket on top of the pass; the calculator adds it for the journeys that use them.
- Local trains, subways and private railways are not included.
- From October 1, 2026, passes bought through travel agencies outside Japan cost more. The official online store kept the old prices for a limited time, and no end date had been announced when we checked.
